Linda was born on October 9, 1943, in Lima, OH, a daughter of the late John E. Early, Sr., and Edith B. Miller Early. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James M. Early and Donald R. Early and close friends, Colleen Reed Jennings, and Kayleen Reed Ziegler.
Linda is survived by her five children, Tami (Barney) Ankrom, James (Debbie) Timms, II, John Timms, Tina (Doug Shaw) Timms, and Terry (Sharon Aucreman) Timms, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, her sister, Patricia Ann Yocum and brother, John E. (Carol) Early, Jr., close longtime friends, Jeanne Ann Souder Williams, Violet Sanders Wise, Judy Hoverman Mowery and Verna Weaver, and several nieces and nephews.
Linda was a 1961 graduate of Indian Lake High School, its inaugural class where she was a 4-year majorette, and senior homecoming attendant. She was also a former member of the Indian Lake Order of Rainbow Girls. Linda enjoyed music, singing and being outdoors. Her greatest love was her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Shoffstall Funeral Home North Chapel, 115 N. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from noon – 2PM. Burial is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH.
