Rea Joyce Tagg (Butler) was born in Pago Pago, Tutuila, Samoa on November 3, 1929 to Julia (Delilah) and Clive Butler. Rea was a woman of strong faith and she lived her life with joy of family.

Rea grew up in Cardston, Alberta and met the love of her life and eternal partner Dale Salway Tagg whom she married in the Cardston Temple on April 12th, 1950. That beautiful union created a wonderful, ever growing legacy of five children, Corey (Debbie) Tagg, Mona Rea (Bart) Walburger, Robert (Bob) (Fiona) Tagg, Darcy (Ruby) Tagg, Tammy (Steve) Plett.

The funeral for Rea will be held at the Cardston Cemetery in Cardston, Alberta on June 8, 2021.
