Past new was Vause not Vance. Her husband was William Vause 1741-1789. His parents were Ephraim Vause and Theodosia Hewlings.
My Great-Grandmother was Bettie Peerce Vause and died in Moose Range in Saskatchewan, Canada (1856-1926). She was married to David Peerce Van Meter (1844-1924).
