She was born in Gage County, near Liberty.

Surviving are another son, Charles, Portland, Ore.; and two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Tefft, Omaha; and Mrs. Irvin Pope, Kit Carson, Colo.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
