OBITUARY 4 APR 1938: Pioneer of North Shore Died Sunday. North Vancouver, April 3. Frederick Walter Hicklenton, 2294 Keith Road, Capilano died in North Vancouver General Hospital on Sunday-his sixty-second birthday. A resident of the district for 46 years, he was born in London, England on April 3, 1876. Besides his wife, Mr. Hicklenton is survived by two brothers, Frank K., Hardy Bay and W. Malcolm, West Vancouver; and three sisters, Mrs. W.E. Hennah, England: Mrs. Robert Russell, North Vancouver, and Mrs. R.V. Parker, Vancouver. Funeral services will be held in St. Edmond's Church, North Vancouver, on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Requeim mass will be celebrated by Rt. Rev. J.B. MacDonald and internment will take place in Capilano View Cemetery. Burrard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
