Shirley Mae Blanton Hawkins, 86, of Anderson passed away June 12, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born March 31, 1935 in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Shelton Alexander and Minnie Alewine Blanton. She worked in accounting.
Surviving are her children: Jeannie Thompson, Joey Hawkins, and Jim Hawkins, Jr. all of Anderson; grandchildren: Jeremiah Thompson, Thomas Hawkins and Alise Hawkins; and brother, Joe Alexander Blanton (Dora). Shirley was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, with Rev. Kitty Holtzclaw officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
