Henry worked as a farmer in Coleman County for approximately 15 years. He then moved to Fort Worth in 1949, where he worked for Convair as a riveter. He then went on to work a number of years for C. W. Lyle Exxon Service Station, where he had many friends.
Henry enjoyed walking at Ridgmar Mall with his many friends.
He was a member of Birchman Baptist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Lillian Sharp; sons, Henry B. Sharp and wife, Pat, Fred L. Sharp and wife, Karon; grandsons, Michael, Robert, Niklaus and Christopher Sharp; brother, Leonard Sharp; sister, Christine Whitley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
