It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Clarice Banister of San Angelo, Texas, born in Hillsboro, Texas, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Horace Johnston and Annie Bell Johnston; and her husbands, Steve Short and Quentin Banister. She is survived by : her children, Jim Short (Tina) of Austin Texas, Stephanie Thomas (Terry) of San Angelo and Coy Short (Susan) of San Angelo; her grandsons, Don Short, Shaun Short, Clayton Short and Chett Short; her great grandchild Bryson Short; and her sister Charlotte Taggart (Don) of Albany, Texas.. She is also survived by fell in love with her grandsons and her great grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 11th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the Albany Cemetery (8603 US-283, Albany, TX 76430).
