Penny was born February 28, 1980 to Elmo and Patricia (Eddleman) Beever in Paducah, KY. She graduated from Brownsville and Pope County Community High School in 2001. Penny was a night owl and liked watching tv, some of her favorite shows were: The Golden Girls, NCIS, Mama's Family and Discovery Animal. She enjoyed listening to oldie music, shopping, going out to eat, bowling and participating in the Special Olympics where Penny won many medals that she was proud of.
Penny is survived by her mother, Pat Beever of Golconda, IL; brother, Eric Beever of Golconda, IL; two sisters, Denise (Eric) Holt of Cape Fair, MO, Tisa Wheeler of Plano, TX; five aunts, Kelly (Cedrick) Blair, Kim (Ivan) Gauston, Barbara Kentch, Ellen Cruce, Jean (David) Myrick; two uncles, Kevin Eddleman, Larry (Laurette) Beever; five nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmo "Butch" Beever; paternal grandparents, Elmo and Hazel Beever; maternal grandparents, Bob and Mona (Moor) Eddleman; and five aunts.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, IL. Brother Kevin Richerson will conduct the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery in Dongola, IL.
