Donna Mae Sparks Mickelsen Fausett, beloved by her family and friends, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021.

Donna was born August 27, 1925 in Salt Lake City to Melvin and Emily Sparks. She married the love of her life, John Doyle Fausett, in Ely, Nevada on October 12, 1947.

She will always be remembered as a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She raised eight children and was an accomplished manager of several dry-cleaning plants.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; son, Lonnie; mother; father; sisters, Velma and June; and grandson, Rodney. Survived by her children, Tom, Gail, Judy, Robin (Marcy), Sandi, Bambi (Rick), and Randy (Connie); over twenty-four grandchildren; and over forty great-grandchildren.

She was deeply loved, and we will truly miss her.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, preceded by a viewing from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville.
