Brenda was born January 22, 1958 at Fort Jackson, in Columbia, South Carolina to Edward and Peggy JoAnn (Schmidt) Widby. She had lived in the Miami area all her life.
Brenda had worked at the Continental Restaurant , Pizza Inn, Save-A-Lot , Integris, Ottawa County Tag Office, Ottawa County Sheriff's Dept. and the Stables Casino.
Brenda was preceded in death by 1 son, Nathan Tyler Widby, her parents, 1 brother, Ernest Tyler Widby and 1 sister, Susan Barr.
She is survived by 1 son, Ryan Widby of Miami, OK, 3 sisters, Edie Graham of Miami, OK, Peggy Jackman of Miami, OK and Janet Coen of Coffeyville, KS and 6 grandchildren, Jakob Widby, Keegan Widby, Liam Widby, Roman Widby, Ava Murphy and Adeline Naquin.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami with Rev. Phil Shyers officiating. Interment will follow in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami with Ryan Widby, Jakob Widby, Jim Coen, Jakob Cox, Mike Staley and John Bohanon serving as pallbearers. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
