David G. Johnston went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born on August 21, 1937 in Conneaut, Ohio to James Howard Johnston and Nancy Isabel Showalter. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Marjorie L. Johnston; his parents and daughter Kathy Cavazos. He is survived by daughter Lisa Kraft; sons Robin Ray Johnston (Rosalinda), Eric Johnston (Crystal), Frank Jasinski (Maria) and Ryan Johnston; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service to begin at 6:30 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we require everyone to wear a mask upon entering the Funeral Home and practice social distancing while inside. There will be a 40-person maximum allowed in the chapel. For everyone's safety please honor the family from a distance. We kindly thank you in advance.
