She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and other relatives here and in Finland.
She was born Selma Maria Hentila in Revonlathi, Finland, in 1883, immigrating to the United States at age 16 and to Mendocino county at 18.
Services were held in Ft. Bragg Saturday, April 3, with Pastor Forsythe of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating. Interment followed at Rose Memorial Park in Ft. Bragg.
