Creda M. Mingione, 88, of 1609 Grove Ave. died the afternoon of Jan. 21, 2004, in Jameson Hospital. Born Sept. 21, 1915, in Canton, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late James White and Sarah Crowthers. She was married to Joseph W. Mingione. He died Jan. 25, 2002. Mrs. Mingione was an inspector for the former American Can Co. for three years. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. Mrs. Mingione was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
Survivors include a son, Russell Mingione of New Castle; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Patsy Mingione.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo FUneral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave. A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for St. Lucy Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Benedetto Vaghetto of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
