Blanche Marie Gerdes, 51, of 204 N. Sumner St. passed away at a local hospital Thursday morning. She was born June 9, 1913 in Hallam, and lived in that vicinity all of her life until moving to Beatrice in 1945. She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Eldon M.; her mother, Mrs. Emma Alberts of Hallam; and one sister, Mrs. Grace Armstrong of Albuquerque, N.M.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the West Side Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Strobel and George W. Neubert officiating. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska. Griffiths-Fox Chapel in charge of arrangments.
