Reverend Ronnie Eugene Greene, age 65, suddenly left this earth to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 one day after his 65th birthday. Ronnie was the widower of Pattie Robinson Greene (June 10, 2020) and the son of the late Boyd E. and Doris Estes Greene. He is survived by his daughter Christian "Christy W. Greene and one brother, Richard W. Greene and his wife Linda; grand-children Kaleb Perry, Madden Cantrell, step-grands, Kayla and Leah Lyons. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie "D" Greene and one sister Nancy Greene.
To those who knew him, he was very humble, compassionate, and had the kindest soul. He became a minister in 1980 serving God in Chester. He was the pastor of The Community Church on Saluda Street where his service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd. The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 at which time Mr. David Sharrai will begin the funeral service. The burial will be in Chester Memorial Gardens.
