Nellie Dee Bates, 97, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004 at Baptist Hickman Nursing Home in Centerville.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home with Bob Talbert, Thomas Mayberry and Dan Parker officiating.
Burial will be in the Nickell Cemetery in Centerville.
The family will visit with family and friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church where she served as secretary-treasurer and church clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zacari Bates and Dora Belle Cotham and a brother, Zollie Bates in 1972.
Survivors include a niece, Margie Breece of Centerville and a nephew, James Madison Bates of Brentwood.
