Experience was the daughter of James Bearse and Experience Howland. Experience was the great-granddaughter of Mayflower passengers John and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland. John was the only passenger to fall overboard on the ship, he survived though and made it to the New World, Experience is also the great-great-granddaughter of fellow Mayflower passengers and parents to Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland, John and Joan Tilley, who also came over on the Mayflower. Experience was the mother to five children, Hannah, John, Rebecca, Experience, and James. Experience was married to Dennis Egerton, who married after his wife's death and had two more children. Experience died on May 29, 1730 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
