She was united in marriage to Frank J. Desparrois on October 5, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Frank's military career took them to many places during his time in the Air Force. Shirley enjoyed making crafts, stamping, crocheting, scrap booking, reading and her cats. She loved spending time with her family.
Preceding Shirley in passing were her parents and brother Melvin Lee Terry.
