Charlene May Towsley, 87, Topekda, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, She was born February 5, 1934 in Junction City, Kansas, the daughter of Oren Baker Davidson and his wife Vivian Lucile (Towle) Davidson. She grew up in Junction City and attended public schools there. Charlene worked 8 years for the Junction City telephone company. Later being transferred to Wichita, Ks In Wichita working for Southwestern Bell and attended Wichita University at night. She was teacher at Brookside Elementary. In 1968 the family moved to Topeka, where she continued teaching, retiring in 1998 after 25 years. October 30 1951 she was married to Jack D. Towsley at New Kirk, Oklahoma. Jack passing in 2003. She is survived by daughter Jill and son Jack D. Jr.
