Kenneth along with 23 of his fellow students were killed when their bus was hit by a train. December 1, 1938.
They were all students of Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah.

Kenneth C. Peterson, son of Grace Vaudrey and Louis W. Peterson was born February 28, 1921 in Riverton, Utah

They say Kenneth was reserved and refined, kind and sincere to all who knew him, and ever successful through diligent application. In the latter part of his seventeenth year he had looked forward to and planned for a start in aviation. Kenneth like most boys had an eye for sports. He found M Men basketball very interesting and was among the gang who thought nothing of a frozen ear or finger compared with a good game of hockey down on the river.

REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE KENNETH
