Mrs. Allie Hindsley

Last rites for Mrs. Allie Ruth Henley Hindsley who died suddenly in Houston, Texas, were held at Poplar Springs Church Tuesday morning, January 21st, with the Rev. Paul Brown of Kilmichael officiating.

Interment was in Poplar Springs cemetery under the direction of Lee Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Purvis Henley, Pleas Henley, Carl Herring, Hayden Herring, Clayton Henley and Dale Jefcoat.

Mrs. Hindsley who was born in Montgomery County on February 20, 1928, was a graduate of the Kilmichael High School. She was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Delsie Hindsley and Harriet Hindsley, and a son, Frankie Hindsley, all of Houston, Texas; her mother, Mrs. Mozell Burns Casey; her father, Banks Henley: her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Burns of Kilmichael; and a half-sister, Mrs. Mildred Casey Blaylock of Longview, Texas.
