Arthur enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his yard. He passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 8 months and 29 days. He was preceded in death by his father John David Harlan, mother Viola Prater; one brother Lee Harlan and daughter Belinda Lasley.
Survived by his wife, Jo of the home; children, Oney Harlan of Hominy; Marsha Harlan of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Cory Harlan of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Natalie Holt of Hominy, Oklahoma; two brothers, Pat Prater and Bob Prater both of Hominy, Oklahoma; sister, Opal Poskey of Cleveland, Oklahoma; step son, Christopher Lovell of Alabama; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter,
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 10:00 am in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery Chapel with Rev. David Downing officiating. Burial will follow in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc.
