Evelyn M. Redd passed away May 26, 2021 in Plano, Texas at the age of 94. She was born to father, Samuel Reese Moffett, and mother, Stella Mae Moffett (Day) on November 9, 1926 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Evelyn worked at Mostek Corporation between 20-25 years as production lead. She then went on to work at National Semiconductor for about 16 years as lead tech in training department.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel, and Stella Moffett; brother, G.W. Moffett; brother, Gene Moffett; sister, Norma Bodin; sister, Jimmie Cross; and brother, Donald Moffett. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kim Nance, and husband Jim; sister, Sandra Adams; granddaughter, Lauren Rockwell, and husband Chad; granddaughter, Natalie Dean, and husband Brian; as well as numerous loving family and friends who will all miss Evelyn dearly.
Funeral service will be held for Evelyn 1:00p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church Irving 403 S Main St, Irving, TX 75060. Following the service, the family will receive friends and family to visit before heading to Oak Grove Memorial Gardens 1413 E. Irving Blvd. Irving, TX 75060 for the graveside service.
