Johnnie was the most humble of women. She was always sharing her love of faith, family, and food for all who were in her presence.
Johnnie loved birds and bird photography, was a strong competitive swimmer and a holder of many records. She broke 6 individual National swim records and 23 National record breaking relays. She loved the Lord, and our children, and she loved me. She would be embarrassed if I listed all of her accomplishments. She leaves behind 4 children: Ann Grosser, Daniel, Thomas, and James Detrick, and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and one more on the way.
We had a wonderful life. We are committed Christians, and I am positive we'll meet again. Her Loving Husband, Richard Detrick
Johnnie's Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 3:00 pm at Community of Grace Church, 2240 Cranbeck Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23235
