Mary Loretta Rasmussen, 78 of Cookeville passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021. She was born Monday, November 16, 1942 in Weir, Kansas, the daughter of the late Jesse Cutshal and the late Agnes Green Cutshal.

Mary was loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved early morning yard sales, spending time with family, watching birds taking care of flowers and cooking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Roy Rasmussen; daughters: Kathy Presley, Lori ( Joe) Elder, Gloria (Carmen) Lorio; sons: Terry Rasmussen, Daniel (Alice) Rasmussen, David Rasmussen; sister: Kay Waltmire and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many special friend that she thought of as family.

Mary was preceded death by her parents; son: Daryl; sisters: Phyllis, Thelma and Lula; brothers: Bob, Donald Ray and Stan; grandchildren: Daisy, Rose, and Diane.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment followed in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
