Mrs. Mary Alice Hottel, Pasadena street, died last night at 11 o'clock at her home, following an illness of five months. Mrs. Hottel was born in Iowa but has lived in Pomona for the past 32 years. Her husband died here two years ago She is survived by her mother, Mrs Sarah A. Hufford, Toledo, lowa; two brothers: Geo E. Hufford, Des Moines, Iowa, and W. K. Hufford of Pomona; one sister, Calista A. Hufford of Iowa. She was a member of the Presbyterian church in Pomona since its organization here. She was president of the local church Ladies' Aid society for many years. Funeral services will be hold from the Presbyterian church on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Dr. J. Hudson Ballird and the Rev. L. H. Evans officiating. Burial will he made in the family lot in Pomona cemetery. Fred E. Brown is in charge of arrangements.
