Son of William Elsea and Mary Vorhire. First married Mary Smith 15 Nov 1839. Children David. Mary. Nancy. William H.and Maria. Married second Rebecca Bennett 7 April 1853 in Union Co. OH. Children Phoebe,Reuben,Sarah,Jacob, Mary Jane. William died at age 40 caused by "Inflammation of the Brain" and never saw his last daughter. Rebecca later married A. J, Point and Mary Jane was raised with his surname.
