Artist. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was an artist best known for her portraiture. She also specialized in medical illustrations. Woods studied at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and then traveled to England to study at the Slade School and the Royal Academy. She was a member of the Women's Art Club of Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Print and Drawing Circle, the Studio Guild, and the National Art Club. Her oil painted portraits of Charles P. Taft and his wife are on permanent display at the University Galleries on Sycamore in Cincinnati. Woods remained single and died at her residence from carcinoma in Hyde Park in 1957 when she was 61 years old.
