Lola L. Fisher Graveside service for Lola L. Fisher 90 of Emmett, who died Tuesday at Apple Valley, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at the Emmett Cemetery. The procession will leave the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett at 1:50 p.m. for the cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the chapel. Lola was born on Feb. 5, 1917 at Wellfleet, Neb. to Henry Earl and Florence Flowers Savage. She was reared and educated there. She married Gale H. Fisher on Sept. 18, 1938 in Neb. They lived in Nebraska where they farmed, and Gale also drove truck. In May of 1959 they moved to Emmett, where they have since resided. Lola enjoyed sewing, quilting gardening and writing songs and poetry. She is survived by her husband Gale of Emmett, her children Lenora and Dave Flowers and Harvey and Cheryl Fisher all of Emmett; a brother John "Pete" Savage of Emmett and a sister Erma Johnson of Boise; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Memorials may be made to XL Hospice of Emmett or a favorite charity.
