Mr. Ancil Merlin Ball, age 82, of Hays died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ball was born in Wilkes County, July 15, 1925, to Ivory and Laura Marlow Ball. He was a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Ball was retired from Yadkin Valley Ford. He worked at Yadkin Valley Ford until he was 80 years old.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ball was preceded in death by a son, Rick Ball; three sisters, Annie Childress, Grace Smithey, and Viola Weaver and a brother, Merlin Ball; a great granddaughter, Hannah Visnic.
