Joseph Clair Rosey, 81, Cairnbrook, died May 22, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Sept. 4, 1939 in Hooversville, son of Joseph and Ruby (Fyock) Rosey. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Shirley Gindlesperger, and an infant brother. Survived by children: Amy Saylor and friend Amos Hechler, Patricia (Damian) Centeno, and George (Christina) Rosey; grandchildren: Megan (Erik), Amber, Miriah, Hanna, Alexis, and Chelsea; brother Jerry (Nadine) Rosey; numerous nieces and nephews, and special caregivers Patty and Tracy. He was a 1957 graduate of Forbes High School. He was a former employee of Galliker's Dairy, Johnstown. Member of Hooversville Church of the Brethren. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until a service at 3 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. Masks and social distancing recommended. Rev. Stanley Pisarski officiating. Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Hooversville Church of the Brethren, 195 Lohr St., Hooversville, PA 15936.
