Milton Pye, 90, a resident of Lanett for 60 years and one of the original laborers in the Lanett Mill, died at his home on Mitchell street Friday.
Funeral services were held from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Mollie Lackey, in Shawmut Saturday with the Rev. Mr. Earls officiating. Burial was in the Lanett cemetery with Johnson and Blakely In charge.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mollie Dutton and Mrs. Callie Milan, both of Lanett; one son Napolen Pye of Columbus, and his sister Mrs. Lackey and several grandchildren and great grand children
