Chesapeake - William Lee Edwards, Sr. born March 23, 1938 in Norfolk, Virginia passed away at Chesapeake Regional Hospital on October 23, 2012. "Bill" was lovingly known and will be greatly missed by many family members, and friends.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Angie; son Lee; granddaughters Elycia and Destiny; brothers John and George, and a host of special nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends. He worked for the Norshipco for 43 years. After retiring he spent time with family and friends. He enjoyed people and laughter, as well as feeding the squirrels at the Great Bridge Locks Park. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, on Mon. Nov. 5, 2012, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with a funeral service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment immediate following in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
