Charles B. DeLaney, age 89, of Hammond, passed away Sunday, March 12, 1978 at the Munster Med Inn. Survivors: wife, Geneva; one son, Emerson (Marilyn) DeLaney of Munster; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry DeLaney of Hammond; four sisters Mrs. Mary Hudson of Hammond; Mrs. Lillian Reinert; Mrs. Leta Cole; and Mrs. Grace Brumm, all of Munster; numerous nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held Tuesday, march 14 at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Calvin Phillips officiating. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clarence J. Huber Funeral Home, 722-165th St., Hammond, Monday 7 to 9 p.m.

Mr. DeLaney was a lifelong resident of Hammond. A retired self-employed printer, and one of the founders of the DeLaney Printing Company. Please omit flowers.
