Eleanor Hosch Dunlap, a life-long resident of Gainesville, Georgia, died on August 3, 2018.

She was born on May 21, 1929, the daughter of Ernestine Ham Hosch and Heyward Carithers Hosch.

She married James Anderson Dunlap on September 10, 1947, and they were married for 58 years until his death in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Dorthea Hosch Redwine and her great grandson Thomas Henderson Strachan.

She is survived by her children, Edgar Brown Dunlap II of Gainesville, Eleanor (Elsie) Dunlap Henderson of Atlanta, Nancy Dunlap Johns of Birmingham, Alabama, and James A. Dunlap Jr. of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her brother Heyward C. Hosch, Jr.

There will be a private family graveside service. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception at 12:00pm on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at The Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville.
