She attended the Bethel School, Windsor Schools and St. Mary's School. Barbara was married to Charles D. Lambert September 13, 1956 in Windsor, VT. They traveled while he was in the military for ten years. They settled in Etna, NH for a time before moving to West Lebanon where she has lived ever since.
Barbara enjoyed textile arts, cross stitch and crochet. She loved to spend time with her beloved cat companion Tianne.
She is predeceased by her husband Charles Lambert; two brothers William Babcock, Robert A. Babcock and sister Belinda LaRock.
Barbara is survived by two sons: Stephen Lambert and his wife Shelley Andrews of Plainfield, NH; a grandson Matthew Johnson; a great-granddaughter Freya Lee Johnson; Charles Lambert of Morrisville, VT; a sister Elaine Dyer of China, ME; several nieces and nephews including her favorite niece Tina Dyer Strout of China, ME.
A graveside service will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Bethel, VT.
