Joyce was born in Vacaville Ca. to Evert and Viola Aldridge. She attended Tulare schools and graduated from Tulare Union High School. She married the love of her life Jerry McClure on Dec. 29, 1962 and had two children, Tammy and Terry. She did secretarial work for years and retired 8 years ago. After retirement her and Jerry enjoyed traveling all over taking road trips across the U.S., flying the skies, or cruising to the Panama Canal as well as other exotic places. She enjoyed driving her Pull Tractor, Dirt Duster around the circuit with her entire family. This is where her love for travel began. She was also a member of the National Tractor Pulling Association for several years. Fun Fact: Joyce always got the last word especially in a text.
She is preceded in death by her parents Evert and Viola, Husband Jerry, daughter Tammy Lynn and puppy Sadie.
She is survived by her son Terry (Ingrid) McClure, son in law Tony Ramos, sister Rosie Gott and Nephew Darin (Kera) Dugan. She also is survived by her 5 grandchildren who she adored: Clint (Melissa) McClure, Kyler (Heather) McClure, Kamryn (Katie) McClure, Tanna (Jace) Sweeney, TJ Ramos and her bonus great-grandchild Jayden.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peers Lorentzen Funeral Home 132 W. Kern St. in Tulare.
Viewing will be Wednesday May 19th from 4-7 and funeral will be Thursday May 20th at 10:00.
