Brenda Gandy Crank, 74, passed away on May 16, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana following a lengthy illness. She was born in Minden, Louisiana on February 7,
1947 to Dewell & Norma Bizzell Gandy.

After over 20 years of service, Brenda retired from Claiborne Parish Schools,
where many fond memories were made at Homer Elementary. One of her greatest joys was when former students would contact her and share what they were doing. Brenda was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Athens, Louisiana. A favorite saying of hers was "In God's Time, In His Will, and In His Way."

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Duffy Gandy. She is survived by her loving son, Chad Crank and wife, Denise; grandchildren, Kinleigh & Riley; sister, Allison Rains, and husband, David; sister-in-law, Alice Gandy; along with several nieces & nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Cemetery Inc. P.O.Box 152 Athens, LA 71003 or to donor's choice.
