Mrs. Bell was a homemaker to her husband and children, as well as helping in the family business from time to time. She enjoyed Bingo, sewing, reading, traveling, and being with her family.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George Bell; her parents, Porter and Trudie Shelley; sister Lucille Everette and Millie Peters; and brother Roy Shelley.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her son, Charles Bell of Modesto; daughters, Christina (husband Jay) Welch of Selma, Oregon and Trudy Bell of San Luis Obispo; grandsons, Lloyd Bell of Santa Paula and Tony Welch of Selma, Oregon; granddaughters, Tammy Bell of Santa Paula and Kellie Welch of Cave Junction, Oregon; and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Thursday, March 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery.
