William Carl "Bill" Doerr died Oct. 5, 2007, at Saint Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho, from complications of a surgical procedure for a congestive heart problem.

Bill was born in Lovell on Sept. 19, 1949, to Leta and the late Norman Doerr. Bill was a graduate of the Lovell High School class of 1969 and received an associate's degree from Ricks Junior College in 1972. He was an employee of the U.S. Park Service in South Dakota and California.

He spent time as a real estate agent and construction salesman in the Casper area. Bill also owned and operated a cleaning service in Utah and Idaho for several years. At the time of his death he was employed by Ultra Clean in Meridian, Idaho.

Bill was known by his friends and family to have a love of life. He loved to smile and laugh at the jokes he would spring on his nieces and nephews. He had a great sense of humor. Bill had a great faith in prayer, affecting many others' lives with that faith.

Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends left behind. He was preceded in death by his father, A. Norman Doerr. Survivors include his mother Leta T. Brown (Brownie), brother N. Craig Doerr (Joyce), sisters Sydney Hessenthaler (Jack), Connie Friedly (Chris), Colleen Tippetts (Brad) and Karen Sullivan (Charlie) and many nieces and nephews.

Interment was in the Lovell Cemetery.
