Seaborn enlisted on 23 September 1861 in the Confederate Army - Company F, 61st Georgia Infantry, and was discharged in Virginia in May, 1865, due to the surrender on 9 April 1865.
Seaborn married Christianna Caroline Wright who was a divorced woman of 22 years(1860-1952) on 4 March 1883, at the age of 50 years in Alachua, Florida. Together they had Nine children.

(2) Effie Mae Jones Wright (1887-1980);
(3) Lola Jones (1888-1890);
(4) Reason Gordon Jones (1890-1960);
(5) Francis L. Jones Hodges (1892-1920);
(6) Jessie Lee Jones (1894-1969);
(7) Jennings Bryant Jones (1896-1973);
(8) Nora Elizabeth Jones Long Singletary (1899-1975); and
(9) Rueben Pasco Jones (1902-1975).
Seaborn died at the age of 91 on 29 Mach 1924; he was the husband of my gg-grandaunt, Christianna Caroline Wright---who was the sister of my gg-grandfather, Silas Joshua Wright (1857-1943).
I would love to communicate with descendants of this family. I am sure that Seaborn had married before the Civil War, but to date we know of no such information.
