"CHARLES ROY HEWITT
Mr. Charles Roy Hewitt born December 30, 1879 in Sublette, Ill., passed away April 9 in a local nursing home.
A retired salesman by occupation, he came to Prescott in December 1969 from Saugatuck, Mich.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Walter Hall of Prescott and a sister out of state.
Private services and cremation will be conducted for Mr. Hewitt with Ruffner Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements."
I wasn't able to find a final resting place for his daughter but I was able to find out that both she and her husband were cremated and the ashes were returned to family - so who knows where they ended up.
