Josephine E. Vandament, 86, 535 E Olive St, died at 2pm Wednesday at Lawrence County Memorial Hosp Lawrenceville.

A native of Lukin Township, she was born on June 12, 1897 to Edward & Sarah Jones Bass. Two husbands Eugene Creek and Owen Vandament preceded her in death.

Survivors are a daughter, Marjorie Barker of Bridgeport; three sons Marion Creek of St. Ann MO, Robert Creek of Bismark and Claude Creek of St. Francisville; a stepdaughter Beulah Canoose of Oakhurst CA; two brothers Ed Bass of Sumner & David Bass of Bridgeport; four sisters Mary Perry of Bridgeport, Bernell Michaels, Bessie Fiscus and Ruth Adams all of Noblesville IND; 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
