EDITH L. MATHEWS (nee RUTTLEDGE) Hessville, Indiana Age 86 passed away January 21, 2007. She is survived by ten children: Beverly (Lionel) Ware of Hessville, Dale (Rosalie) Snyder of Crown Point, William (Barbara) Mathews of Edgewater, Florida, Jeanette (Thomas) Jones of Schererville, Nancy (James) Cox of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Glen (Annette) Mathews of Hessville, Judith (Edward) Cox of Schererville, Dennis (Tami) Mathews of Wheatfield, Barbara (Bill) Wigmore of Crown Point, and Carol Lawson of Hammond; 42 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wilbur; great grandson, Jacob Mathews; parents, Harry and Elizabeth Ruttledge; nine brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2007, a t 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (2 blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, Indiana 46322, with Randy Harrison, Minister, officiating. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Edith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and was a friend to everyone that she met.
