Ethel Bowling Crews, 84, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 26, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Crews, brothers, Aaron Bowling, James O. Bowling, Davis Bowling and William L. (Bill) Bowling, and sister, Susie Waldron.

Ethel was a resident of The Berkshire Health Care Center and a member of Belmont Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Edgar G. Bowling; and three sisters, Barbara Jones, Elsie Macy and Grace Peggins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Belmont Baptist Church, 825 Stewart Avenue, Roanoke, VA. Services and interment are private. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
