Birth and death dates for James M. Adcock on his gravestone do not coincide with
either the Ky. Death Record or Ky. Death Index. 1. The Kentucky Death Index has
death as 20 Aug 1924, Trimble County, Age 74, Certificate 19590. 2. The actual Ky.
Death Record indicates birth as 3 Jul 1850 in Ky., and death as 20 Aug 1924 in
Trimble County, Ky. with burial in Burrows Cemetery. What is interesting about the
actual Ky. Death record is that in the name column the name Jennie McMannis was
scratched out and James Adcock was inserted.

Jennie Alice McMannis (1877-1909) married James Adcock 9 Aug 1899 in Jefferson
County, Indiana. The couple had 5 children.

The way I look at it is that we just need for the facts to stand alone. There are
obviously some glitches in the facts that we cannot change. I think our job is just
to report the facts. If you think it okay, just put in the information that I gave
you, unless I reported something wrong. At least we have warned people that the
information may be incorrect. I have seen some in findagrave that has
inconsistencies and the person who downloaded the information did not say that.
