The funeral of the late Abner R. Hallberg, whose death occurred in the Alberta Sanitarium. Edmonton. on Sunday, 19th inst., took place at Ross Creek on Tuesday afternoon, and was largely attended. Services both at the house and grave were conducted by Rev. A. D. McDonald, Lamont. The palllearers were : W. C. Pollard, A.. E. Wilmeroth, Dan Mayberry, L. Hopper, O. Gordon, and Wm. Mair. The deceased, who was in his thirty-first year, was a man of upright character, and kindly disposition, and his sudden death has cast a shadow of gloom over the whole community. Besides his aged Parents and several brothers and sisters, he leaves to mourn a wife and three children, for all of whom deep sympathy is felt.
