Elizabeth Neel married Moses Shelby Jr. He was the son of Moses Shelby and the grandson of Evan Dhu and Catherine Shelby. Evan Dhu Shelby's birthplace was Wales. Moses Shelby Jr. (Rocky Rivers SC) was a private in the American Revolutionary War. He served under his cousin Colonel Isaac Shelby. It is said that he participated in the Battle of Kings Mountain, SC. This battle was a decisive victory for the patriot cause.
