Dorothy Faye Coker, beloved aunt, went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2011. Graveside services, under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Restland Cemetery in Roxton.

She was born on August 27, 1920, in Howland, the daughter of E. M. Burns and Rena Ables Burns. She attended Oklahoma schools. During her lifetime, she volunteered and worked at different schools throughout the State. She had lived most of her life in Roxton where she made many friends. She was a former member of the board of directors of the Restland Cemetery in Roxton. She had attended the Church of Christ in Roxton and later in Honey Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents; all five siblings; and her husband, Roy Coker. She is survived by her nephew, Scott, and wife Shirley, of San Angelo; and by several great-nieces and nephews. Aunt Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
